DARN ABCESSES!!!!!

Looked out the window the other day to see Diesel on 3 legs......quickly went outside with my heart in my mouth thinking he had broken something. Called out to him, he whinnined back and tried to hobble over and looked like he was going to fall over with every stride. Gave him a thorough check over and could find........NOTHING! Ended up being an abcess in his near-hind...he is such a big sooky-bubba with abcesses, anyone would think that his leg was cut off!!!! Anyway, as soon as it burst he was as right as rain.......charging around like there was no tomorrow! At least I know in future that any limping will most probably mean an abcess, and not a broken leg like I thought this time.......Horses eh??????
